I'm Still Holding On To... Myself?

I finally turned my mobile phone on today, and as expected, my parents called. Blablabla..yaddayaddayadda.. as usual.. what parents would say to you when you've been "missing" for a few days with no news.
Sometimes I just wish they would just let me decide on things and accept what I want. I know it's hard being a parent, but at least give me a chance to do things my way without having things to say that sometimes.. hurt. They said I've grow up, so why won't they let me "grow up" and decide on things like an adult? :(
