I started reading at a very young age, even before my parents sent me to kindergarten. I can still remember the day I read out the newspaper to my parents at the age of 4, they were thrilled! My daddy would tell his brothers (my uncles) how proud he was that his daughter could read at a very young age.
It would be nice if my kids would do the same too.
