I Want To Be An American!

My boyfriend used to live in the States for years, before coming back here for family reasons. Although it kinda hurt him (I could see it through his eyes!), I know deep down inside.. he's still wishing he could be back to the States, building his American dream and get his PR. Honestly, I would love to migrate over to the States too. I would love to be able to live as a free woman (alongside my boyfriend, of course). Why do I want to move to the States and become an American?

Well, here's my Top 10 Reasons why I want to be an American:

1. The right to vote and obtain certain federal jobs
2. Security from anti-immigrant laws
3. Security from removal
4. The right to live or take long trips outside the United States
5. Special rights and protections when traveling outside the United States
6. An unquestioned right to return to the United States
7. The ability to bring other family members to the United States (faster than you could as a permanent resident)
8. The right to apply for public benefits
9. Cost savings in renewing Green card every 10 years (in fees and time)
10. Pass Citizenship to your children

I know a friend of mine is married to a guy from another country who just got his green card recently, and boy, was he happy to be an American!

Well, if my boyfriend ever gets to decide on his future soon (which is going back to the States), I know just the place for us to go and get our green card application.

Apply for US Citizenship Online

If you wanna join me (maybe we can be neighbours!!), you should go and apply through that website too. It saves up to 90% fees, fast and easy too.

See you in America!

Getting an American citizenship sure is a lengthy procedure. You can't just become a US citizen after application you need to apply for an immigrant visa first. If you have a family member which is a US citizen or a green card holder then you can have them file a petition so you can be go to the US.
